Bipolar Plates for Fuel Cells
Bac2’s trademark technology is ElectroPhen™. ElectroPhen™ describes both the polymer itself and conductive composites based upon the polymer with added fillers. ElectroPhen™ is the only bulk, commercially available electrically conductive polymer. It is inherently conductive, cures at room temperature and moulds easily. When used in a composite form, ElectroPhen™ is a cost-effective solution for bipolar plate and end plate manufacture.

Bac2 is aware that fuel cells will be used in a vast array of applications and that more than one plate solution will be required for optimal use across the range. Hence Bac2 is actively developing ElectroPhen™ composite bipolar plate technology to suit a range of customer requirements.
